Mythic Drawings is an archetypal approach to drawing from the imagination that blending DreamTending practices with traditional animation drawing. Developed as a mythological studies dissertation, it is an emerging method that offers artistic and psychological ideas for exploring the mythic images, motifs and stories that live in the creative process itself. Inspiration, artistic techniques and even the media we use to draw has its own fantasy going on. The lion that prowls in the living room of the dream may also roar through the frenetic movement of a gesture drawing.
