Mr. Caldwell has worked his whole adult life for community service organizations.  Presently serving as Director of Strategic Advancement at the Hospice of Santa Barbara, Inc., Mr. Caldwell also acted as Director of Advancement at Girls, Inc. of greater Santa Barbara, and Director of Special Projects at United Way of Santa Barbara County.  He specializes in fundraising and advancement, including major gifts, foundation giving, special events and donor outreach.

Mr. Caldwell earned his English Literature bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri–Columbia and a Master of Arts in Mythological Studies with an Emphasis in Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute. In addition, he volunteers at Foodbank and several other local nonprofits in a hands-on capacity.
