The Annual Meeting events will be held at Pacifica Graduate Institute’ s Ladera Lane Campus at 801 Ladera Lane, Santa Barbara, CA 93108. Located on 35 acres in the foothills of the Santa Ynez Mountains overlooking the Pacifica Ocean, this residential retreat center provides a unique and peaceful environment for the Association’ s Annual Meeting. This campus has lodging, dining facilities and parking.
Space is limited. Register early! To register, complete the registration form and mail to the Office of Alumni Relations, Pacifica Graduate Institute, 249 Lambert Road, Carpinteria, CA 93013; or call the Office of Alumni Relations at 805.969,3626, ext. 163. Full payment is required with your registration. An email confirmation letter will be sent within 5 days of receipt of your registration.
To obtain a refund on your registration fee, send a written cancellation request no later than 30 days before this event. Your payment less a $50 processing fee will be refunded. No refunds on your registration fee will be made after that time. In the event the annual meeting is sold out with a waitlist and we are able to transfer your registration to someone on the waitlist, we will issue you a refund less the processing fee. Any registration transfer that do not go through our office will be assessed the processing fee onsite. For a refund on accommodations at the Ladera Lane Campus, cancellation with full refund will be accepted up to 5 days before the annual meeting. Cancellations made 1-4 days before the event will receive a 50% refund. There will be no refund for cancellation on the day of the even.

Los Angeles Airport (LAX) is approximately 90 miles from Pacifica’s Ladera Lane Campus. The Santa Barbara Airbus offers seven round trips daily between LAX and Santa Barbara. Charges are $88 for a prepaid round-trip or $46 for a prepaid one-way. Contact the Airbus at www.sbairbus.com, 805.964.7759 or 800.733.6354. The best pick-up/drop-off location is at the Hyatt Santa Barbara as taxi service is readily available from Santa Barbara. There is also a pickup/drop-off location at the IHOP in Carpinteria; however, cab service in Carpinteria is not readily available. The Airbus driver will call for a taxi to pick you up at your stop if requested.
Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) is approximately 18 miles from Pacifica’s Ladera Lane Campus. Rental car information is available at flysba.com/services/car rental_information
Taxi Services to both of our campuses are available in Santa Barbara from the airport, the train station, and from the Airbus drop-off points. Pre-arranged taxi rates are approximately $40-$45 to/from SBA or $20 to/from the Santa Barbara Train Station and Hyatt Santa Barbara Airbus stop. Please note, Fly by Night Taxi is the only company based in Carpinteria with pre-arranged rates to/from the Carpinteria Train Station and Airbus Stop.
LB Transportation Airport Shuttle offers shuttle service between SBA and the Ladera Campus, the Lambert Campus, and the Best Western Carpinteria Inn. Pre-arranged rates (24 hours in advance) are $36 for one passenger one-way plus $9 for each additional passenger for the same time to the same location (subject to change per provider). These rooms are held for the Association at this special rate until three days before the annual meeting. Be sure to mention PACIFICA GRADUATE INSTITUTE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION to receive the special rate. Package includes Friday and Saturday Lodging only – No other nights are not included, but may be available upon request for an additional fee.
Pacifica’s Ladera Lane Campus, 801 Ladera Lane, Santa Barbara, CA 93108. A limited number of rooms are available for alumni/ae. Accommodations are simple, dormitory-style rooms with a shared bath and shower. Reservations for rooms must be made through Pacifica Graduate Institute Alumni Relations Office. Note, there is a twonight minimum stay for the annual meeting weekend. Due to our Conditional Use Permit, only attendees of this event may stay on campus.
